    Asharqia Chamber opens the door to the nomination of the business committees, branches councils and executive boards

     

    The Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber of its Eighteenth Terms (2018 - 2022) announced the opening of the candidacy for the business committees, branch councils, executive boards, and social responsibility committees. It would start from this Sunday, for one week. Membership applications would be received through the official website www.chamber.org.sa

    The Chairman of the Board, Abdul Hakim Al-Khalidi, said that the opening of the candidacy for membership of the committees and councils was after extensive consideration by the new Council for restructuring in correspondence with the new economic trends, which highlighted the importance of the value of the business sector in the national economy.

    He called on businessmen and women to apply for membership and contribute to the Chamber's efforts in serving the business sector.

    AlKhalidi added that the Board has completed a new structure of the business committees and councils to make their performance and outputs more effective. The Board of Directors believed in its importance in achieving the aspirations and interests of its subscribers. In fact, it is the most reflective of the topics and challenges of economic sectors that entrusted with studying the problems and issues facing the private sector, and seeking to solve them in coordination with national committees and government agencies. He pointed to the interaction of many government agencies with the recommendations and proposals of committees and councils.

    He explained that the Council's interest in raising the performance of committees and councils of the Chamber is to keep pace with the state of economic mobility that are taking place in the Kingdom. In addition, he pointed out that the restructuring focused more on qualitative matters and ways to raise the positive performance of various committees and councils in order to ensure rapid communication and benefit subscribers.

    He said that these committees have achieved a lot of accomplishments during the last phase. However, the next phase requires a greater effort of work, especially with the major shifts experienced by the national economy in all sectors. Therefore, they have to maintain the achievement achieved, and to develop new gains for the benefit of the Chamber's subscribers.​
